As to the D3 and SC2 thing. WoW is hugely successful so another RPG wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Starcraft is getting quite old... to say the least. A new RTS would capture a fair proportion of the market and won't be competing with another product of the same genre from the same company.

I'm sorry but I have a hard time believing most of that. Diablo 2 is a classic and most of that would ruin it. As mentioned in the post though there have been plenty of "hydra" rumors and we know a D3 is in the works because Richard Knaak said so when he was promoting the new Diablo books something about not working on a dead world, but a world with the dead in it or something. Quite frankly though, with SC2 nearing completion and the billion dollars they make every year from WoW, they are in no hurry to put out anything but WoW expansions to keep the cash coming in. I just hope they put some of that billion dollars every year into Starcraft: Ghost and D3. (I still have screen shots of Ghost and desperately wish they would put it out. being able to kill tons of zerg as a ghost is an awesome concept and they really need to see it through to completion.)
